Principals

Susan Bitter Smith, CAE: Susan is a Certified Association Executive, as designated by the American Society of Association Executives. She is a Past Chairman of the American Society of Association Executives, is the Past President of the Arizona Society of Association Executives, and received ASAE's highest award, the Key Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2001. Susan is a founding member of the Public Affairs Professionals of Arizona and is an Arizona registered lobbyist. She is the Past Chairman of the Walter Cronkite Foundation, the Past President of the ASU Alumni Association, and the Honorary Chairman of the ASU MBA Alumni Council. Susan chaired the Arizonans for Bush campaign in 1988 and 1992 and was Chairman of the Steve Forbes for President campaign in Arizona in 1996. She is a former Vice-Mayor and City Council member in the City of Scottsdale, Arizona, and was active as a Councilman in the areas of economic development, planning and zoning reform, and budgetary reform. She was a Republican candidate for Congress in Arizona's First District and is currently an elected member of the Central Arizona Water Conservation District Board of Directors as well as serving on the Balsz School Board. Susan is a contributing columnist to the "Arizona Republic" and the co-host of the "Arizona Almanac" radio show.

Paul Smith: Paul serves as the President of Technical Solutions and is the Past President of Mintech, Inc. Paul is a former Republican Party District Chairman and served on the Arizona Secretary of State's Election Security Committee. He has been a member of the Reagan-Bush Committee in Arizona in 1980 and 1984 and served on the Bush campaign in 1988 and 1992 and Forbes Arizona campaign committee in 1996. In addition, he has managed a number of successful Arizona campaign committees, including campaigns for numerous state, county, legislative, city council candidates and initiatives/referendums. He is a member of the Valley Citizens League and a past director of the Scottsdale Foundation for the Handicapped, the Arizona School Choice Scholarship Trust, and the Valley Christian Centers board of directors.
